About Gloria Bailey-Ray
Born and raised in a small town in Arkansas where opportunities were limited but dreams were not, Gloria Bailey-Ray was raised by parents who encouraged her to go further — and she did.
Gloria holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with an emphasis in Gender and Law, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
She is a Certified Professional Life Coach since 2014, author, motivational speaker, and talk show host — known worldwide as "The Authentic Coach."
Her journey from a small Arkansas town to the Bay Area is not just a biography — it's a testament to what happens wh.en a woman refuses to shrink.
Why I Coach
"My background in leadership, training, and coaching showed me that people rarely fail because they lack talent. They struggle because of fear, conditioning, lack of confidence, burnout, unresolved wounds, or because no one ever truly poured into them.
What inspired me to coach was the opportunity to help people see themselves differently — not just professionally, but personally. I wanted to create the kind of space where people feel seen, challenged, accountable, and empowered to move forward."

"I became a coach because I got tired of watching people settle for lives, relationships, careers, and identities that no longer fit who they truly were.
I've spent decades teaching, training, leading, mentoring, and helping people navigate change. But coaching allowed me to go deeper. It allowed me to help people confront the truth about where they are, who they've become, and what needs to change in order for them to live authentically and unapologetically.
That's why I'm called The Authentic Coach. Because authenticity changed my life first."
